Football Manager are honoured to announce a new club partnership with Yokohama F. Marinos.

The deal with five-time J. League winners is our first with a Japanese club.

Shortly after Football Manager 2024’s release on November 6th, an issue was noted with the FM24 Demo on Steam.

This issue has now been resolved but, in order to do so, we had to remove it from Steam and resubmit it.

The new version of the Demo is available now to download. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

It’s time to go again, with Football Manager 2024 now live and available to play across all platforms. 

If you’ve been enjoying Early Access to FM24 (PC/Mac) on Steam or Epic Games, you can simply quit and restart the relevant launcher to update your game to the full release build. As a reminder, any career progress made during Early Access can be carried forward.

The long-awaited journey to Japan is nearing with the landmark arrival of the J.League in Football Manager 2024.

Thank you all for your feedback on the Development Update blog that we released in June. It was great seeing so many people talking about the future potential of the Football Manager series on our forums and social media.

When writing blogs like that one, it’s always difficult to find the right balance between trying to be transparent and being careful not to talk about things too early. As a big fan of certain TV shows that are full of community ‘theory forums’, I’ve always enjoyed speculating with other people’s work, but always find it a bit odd with our own work, despite the fact that players being excited to get their hands on more information is probably the most gratifying thing that can happen for our team! We hope we got the balance right and the feedback we received means further transparency with today's blog and more to come in the future.

In this blog, I’ll be talking about what happens next with the rollout of FM24’s features as well as some new partnerships which will benefit both this year’s release and future titles beyond.

This blog is one that I have been looking forward to writing and we’re delighted to finally be able to update you all on the future direction of Football Manager. I’m going to talk about FM23, FM24, and in a first for us as a studio, look a bit further ahead beyond the next iteration of the game to one of the biggest changes in our history. And there’s a lot to talk about so, whilst I apologise for the length, I hope you find it an interesting insight into what we’ve been up to at the studio.
